Approximately three Zillion pictures

These are most of my favorites from the week-long visitors :)
We had a fabulous time in the blue bonnets, quacking like ducks and getting adjusted.
EVERYONE had a heck of a travel experience coming , and some going.  Kudos to sisters, mama and brother for keeping your cool.  Lucie and Teddy will learn the same eventually.

K&A taught Lucie how to say kaka (sorry bout that Will) and I'm pretty sure she said MINE (very protective over her baby), and Teddy started using a fork like a total pro, just picked it up and knew what to do!  L&T rode in the wagon and touched the grass for the first time, had their first BBQ dinner and were the most fabulous baby models on earth for an entire afternoon!

Thank you so much for visiting we miss you all every day.
Enjoy our week in pictures.

Toddler Teething

I have approximately three zillion pictures to post from when family was visiting, but I had to share something else first.

Aiden woke up a new man today, a molar man in fact!  It's been a rough couple weeks waiting for that first sucker to break through.  I remember how excited I was when Aiden got his first tooth in Colorado, but suddenly he seemed so different.  The way he'd suck his bottom lip and stopped smiling as much.  Today felt similar....and as I looked at him in a new light I saw a shining mullet screaming for help!

Aiden HATED the haircut at first, the single tear kills me and then started laughing at his expression in the mirror.

I felt bad making him unhappy after what he'd just been through with that darn tooth, but the new hair-do fits him.  We tossed around the idea of Kaleb's first haircut too, BUT I'm trying to teach him to say kowabunga dude.  He's such a little surfer.  Can't clip the wings yet!

I promise to get some family pictures up SOON!  Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Spring Fling

Before the sisters, brother and twin cousins arrived Keith, my mom and I took K&A to my multiples group spring fling.  It was a really beautiful day in the park.  The group did a marvelous job setting everything up, and seeing a zillion sets of multiples is always oh-so entertaining.

The playground was the best we've ever been on, and I wish it wasn't all the way in New Braunfels.

The boys got a huge kick out of the egg hunt they set up for the Toddlers.  Aiden loved to crack the eggs open, toss the candy on the ground and immediately move on to the next egg.  His favorites were the ones you could crush and confetti would burst out!  Kaleb found a Darth Vader head and carried it around the rest of the afternoon.  These boys have a love for Star Wars in their blood!

We are VERY busy playing with EVERYONE at the moment and I'll have a zillion pictures to post soon!  We had a great time taking more blue bonnet photos yesterday evening.  Hopefully the sun will come out today so we can all go swimming!

I tried my best to capture some eclipse photos of the blood moon too, just wanted to share.

Blue Bonnets

Spring showers this year have really allowed the blue bonnets to grow tall, and wow are they gorgeous.  Naturally the very best patches grow along the highways, and I'm not crazy enough to put the boys in that spot for a photo opportunity!  I think that's just bonkers.

Last week the boys and I were climbing into the wagon, ready for a afternoon walk, when our corner of San Antonio randomly got hit with a giant storm.  We made it back inside just in time to miss the hail.  It was pretty crazy.  After the storm the sun came out and the backyard blue bonnets looked SO vibrant I ran back there with K&A for a quick photo shoot.

This week we planned a family picture, which we took with some great friends.  Their 9month daughter Bristol and Kaleb fell in love the day they met in the hospital.  We are so ridiculous talking about their babylove, so we took silly "engagement" photos.  Aiden was running a high fever and not impressed….so none of our family ones worked out.

We planned another special recreation of last year's family picture in the backyard, but since Aiden is still feverish we'll postpone another day or so.  We get to pick up B-ma from the airport tomorrow evening!  SOOO EXCITED!!!  Then on Monday and Tuesday sisters, brother and twin cousins join the party.  We are going to PLAY PLAY PLAY! swim, eat watermelon, make gobs of smoothies and I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a extra fridge for the amount of milk we'll need for FOUR toddler tornado's.  I'm so happy the cow is the milk machine and not me!
