We caught wind of Winterfest, a little fire and ice festival in our town, Friday night.....and when I heard about the horse drawn carriage rides I knew it was something we had to check out. Although the lines for the rides were WAY too long, the boys loved seeing the horses trot around the square.
We saw some neat ice sculptures, drank warm apple cider off the fire, played with some friendly sled dogs and watched the fireman light a GIANT block of ice on fire. Thank goodness for the delicious warm winter day. And although it was 40 degrees nothing beats a giant pot of chili for dinner!
Are you sure you didn't take Lucie to the fest? I did a double take of kaleb on the sled. Looks like fun!
